Drug trafficking was dismantled at the end of January in Auch by the gendarmerie. Many people are behind bars, dozens of consumers have been questioned.
The whole affair began in the spring of 2023, for the investigators of the research brigade of the gendarmerie of Auch. They are closely interested in the actions of an Auscitaine, well known in Auscitaine party and nightlife circles, which seems to be at the heart of a rather profitable drug trade, which feeds the consumption of many customers. During the months, the gendarmes identified these buyers, regularly or not, and especially the ramifications of the Gers network.
Five arrests
The investigators ended up accumulating enough evidence so that at the end of January 2024, they closed the trap. L’Auscitaine is arrested. The search team immediately made four other arrests. He is placed in preventive detention in the prison of Agen, where three other people, directly involved in the case, join her. A final person is subject to judicial supervision.

According to sources close to the case, Auscitaine was in possession of a large amount of money – we are talking about several tens of thousands of euros. And the network sells a lot of cocaine, among other substances. Although it is no longer rare to find cocaine in cases of drug trafficking or possession in Auch, this drug rarely makes up the majority of merchandise sold.
The drug comes from the Netherlands
Where do drugs come from? According to some sources, the drugs come from the Netherlands, again an unusual appearance in the Gers narcotics files, where dealers usually get their supplies in Toulouse, and sometimes in Spain. This point has not yet been confirmed by the investigation, which is still ongoing at the research brigade.
The discovery of this traffic caused some commotion in the Auscitain microcosm. Because if five people were arrested, the legal hearing brought dozens of consumers to attend the subpoena of the search brigade.
